Although all this is very preliminary testing and we have already planned several modifications to our buoy, this has a very fun movie of our buoy enduring 35 cm, 1.6 s period waves in our test tank. The mooring yoke does a lot of clanging around in this video and will be modified significantly. Our plan is to extend it’s length below the transducer on the bottom.
